LG Optimus One dan Chic, Ponsel Murah Berbasiskan Android 2.2 Froyo

LG mengeluarkan spesifikasi resmi LG Optimus Chic dan One yang pernah diumumkan beberapa waktu lalu. Ke dua ponsel Android terbaru dari LG tersebut memiliki spesifikasi mirip seperti prosesor 600Mhz, layar 3.2 inci (320x480) tipe capacitive touchscreen, slot microSD sampai dengan 32GB, dukungan wifi, bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, A-GPS, FM radio dan OS Froyo 2.2.

Tidak seperti LG Optimus GT540 yang masih menggunakan OS 1.6 pada saat peluncuran, LG Optimus one dengan kode P500 ini sudah menggunakan OS Froyo yang membuat smartphone ini selangkah lebih unggul. Sedangkan spesifikasi lainnya, seperti kamera 3 megapixel autofocus, perekam video kamera 18fps resolusi VGA, dukungan 3G HSDPA baterai 1500mAh, dan aplikasi serta tampilan khas LG.

Sedangkan Optimus Chic, lebih ditujukan pada pengguna slylis dengan 2 pilihan warna yang menarik. Dengan bentuk yang lebih tipis dan minimalis, Chic ditargetkan untuk anak muda yang dapat dipadukan dengan fashion. Spesifikasi ponsel stylis ini diatas Optimus One, dengan resolusi kamera 5 megapixel autofocus, perekam video 30fps VGA, dan dukungan DLNA media sharing. LG Chic juga dilengkapi dengan aplikasi LG Sync, aplikasi sinkronisasi buku telepon, photo dan informasi lain dengan komputer dan komputasi awan (Cloud).

Ke 2 ponsel tersebut akan diluncurkan di 90 negara dan 120 operator di seluruh dunia. Ke 2 ponsel Android tersebut juga akan memulai debut peluncurannya di Eropa dan Asia Pacific pada bulan Oktober 2010. Namun sampai saat ini belum ada informasi lebih lanjut mengenai harga yang akan dibandrol. Diharapkan LG Optimus Chic maupun One dapat dibandroid murah sehingga lebih terjangkau terutama oleh kalangan anak muda.

Powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) and optimised for Google Mobile Services, the handsets will deliver the ultimate smartphone experience while offering easier accessibility for the growing number of consumers looking to purchase their first smartphone.

LG Optimus One and LG Optimus Chic are among the earliest smartphones to launch with Android 2.2, Froyo, the latest version of the Android platform, which allows for two to three times faster and smoother internet browsing, web-page loading, application pop-ups and multi-tasking.

The devices also enable professionals to easily sync with Outlook Calendar for improved productivity, while offering portable Wi-Fi hotspots to easily share a single 3G connection.
